Zangetsu is a CRAU from Lost Carnival, which means he has a variety of powerful fae-based, non-canon abilities at his disposal that may affect other characters, including PCs!
Neither of these powers will ever be used without discussion first!! I will never spring surprise kemomimi or Hollowfication without talking about it with the player in question first. These powers are opt out by default.

1. Shapechanging: Zangetsu, through touch, can change the shape of other beings. This could be anything from giving them a pair of cat ears to completely changing them into a different animal or monster. In general, the smaller the change, the longer it lasts. On rare occasions, these changes can become permanent, if you like! By the same token, he can partially break shapechange curses placed by other fae, depending on how powerful the original spell is.
2. Possession: Once a week, Zangetsu can take a noncorporeal form and “possess” a host, imbuing them with Hollow powers like his own! The host gains a mask similar to Zangetsu’s, but can vary depending on the host preference. It can either be a mutual decision, where Zangetsu’s consciousness takes a backseat to the host who can then use his powers at will, or it can be against the host’s will and Zan will puppet the body as if it were his own. The possessed form combines the powers of the original host with Zangetsu’s and the possession lasts as long as the host can hold out — this can be anywhere from hours for someone like Ichigo, to seconds for someone less experienced. Both Zangetsu and the host will be exhausted after the possession ends, and Zangetsu can be forced out via various kinds of exorcism, or by strong force of will of an unhappy host. Additionally, non-Ichigo hosts can take different Hollow forms, but always with markings and build similar to the original full Hollow. If one non-Ichigo person is possessed multiple times, they may begin to develop Hollow-like traits, such as black sclera, claws, or a hunger that doesn’t quite go away… player’s choice, of course!
